On Friday, Brennan and Clapper returned to the forum, an annual gathering held by the Aspen Institute far from Washington to foster bipartisan consensus regarding national security. Sitting shoulder to shoulder onstage, the two former intelligence chiefs unleashed a blistering and highly unusual public critique of a sitting President by two former intelligence chiefs. Brennan urged members of Congress to resist President Trump if he fires Robert Mueller, the special counsel. “I hope, I really hope, that our members of Congress, elected representatives, are going to stand up and say, ‘enough is enough,’ and stop making apologies and excuses for things that are happening that really flout, I think, our system of laws and government.”

Brennan added that he thought it was “the obligation of some executive-branch officials to refuse to carry out some of these orders that, again, are inconsistent with what this country is all about.”

FNC just ran a segment on how ISIS head al Baghdaddi who just seems to get away all the time just in the nick of time, "once again escaped death."

This time the bad guys are the NYT for tipping him off in a newspaper article.

At that point coffee was spewing all over my puter.

Truth is when someone like al Baghdaddi escapes some 25 times in a row and you and you blame the NYT it's a bit beyond belief even for them!

The only way Baghdadi is escaping so many times is that he's CIA and is supposed to escape!!!

Rand Paul is a nice guy but he is compromised. The white hats report summed things up nicely. I believe there is a Deep State. But that doesn't answer the questions of their agenda and who controls it. I suspect there is loose control dating from Cold War times. I have a tiny bit of experience for which I won't bother giving details that suggests the CIA was in bed with everyone during the Cold War, specifically all the "allied" intel agencies, all the "enemy" agencies, the UN, etc.

The reason for their Cold War MO is that it is easier and much more pleasant to drink wine and eat brie with both your "friends" and enemies than to get stabbed in a back alley. When 9/11 hit that had to end, but they didn't want it to end.

The deep state is all about open borders, selling out the American worker, America as a puppet (rather than America First) as your White Hat link suggests.

And yes, he did throw out a jab about Sarah Sanders’ appearance although he prefaced it with about how he thought she looked just fine now.

There’s a fine line between a thoughtful appearance and what’s inside. This ain’t rocket science.

My daughter, Muncheussen patient and now getting to the point of absurdity but with two suspected murders under belt, ALWAYS went about looking like shit.

People felt sorry for you when you looked like shit. Her teeth were surrounded with cheesy stuff, her hair was always greasy.

Dozens of times cousins or such took her to a “makeover” but she wanted to look bad.

Proof, I argue, that appearance speak to more than eyes.

Now what this has to do with Scaramucci I don’t know just yet. But he is perfectly dressed and coiffed and he did, on his first major interview, remark on the appearance of others.

President Trump himself has taken females to task although he was in charge of a big beauty contest.

Just speculating in a fashion.

Absolutely right. Now the CIA and IC are in open rebellion against the President. They see their job as providing intel to the media, which uses it against Trump at every step. Like Clappert and Hayden recently at Aspen Security Forum last week trashing everything Trump is doing. This should be strictly forbidden. They are still bound by their confidentiality seals. Of course Hillary and Comey have make a mockery out of preservation of classified information.
