Have to agree with him , just stay away for the left coast and most of the northeastern area’s and you’ll be O K .
Probably not kill him, but they certainly would organize embarassing incidents.
I heard Mr. Trump wants to meet with Duterte, at the ASEAN summit in November if not sooner. Guess this means Trump will have to go to him, since Duterte doesn’t want to come to us.
They already are being extra-troublesome, and the US is helping a little, with surveillance drones, etc.
But note - the Muslims there are just that - troublesome, but this is not a strategic problem, much less an existential problem for the Phils. The Muslims are outnumbered 20:1 The Muslims mainly succeed in fouling their own nest.
>Probably not kill him, but they certainly would organize embarassing incidents.
Why not kill him? They’re trying to overthrow the US president. Killing the prez of the Philippines is nothing compared to that.
In some ways, Duerte is as cruel a dictator as is Erdogan of Turkey .
He could very easily be brought up on charges of facilitating War Crimes. Maduro of Venezuela being a close second.
>In some ways, Duerte is as cruel a dictator as is Erdogan of Turkey.
I wouldn’t call killing criminals cruel. I’d call it justice.
I wish he were right but millions and millions of foreigners continue to sneak into America every year.
Whatever honey child.
No due process. Sending out teams of thugs to murder who they perceived to be drug users/dealers. This FR lady thought we ought to do the same here in the U.S..
Well, turns out, Duterte is indeed a freakin nut. Little general with a power complex.
Who needs this foul mouthed thuggish blowhard to visit us? Show of hands? Anyone?
Nope, they most certainly didn’t. My grandparents were friends with a Filipino family in CA, who came here to open an Italian restaurant in Santa Cruz.
Grampa was a Pacific Campaign vet; his buddy Mr. Espirtu watched his family get butchered by Japanese soldiers. They were tight needless to say.
Dutarte is still a dictator, regardless. Jeez. Cheerleading a Tyrant...
Possibly he attended the Folsom Street Fair.
If not for lousy Americans, you’d be speaking Japanese today.
> Dutarte is still a dictator, regardless. Jeez. Cheerleading a Tyrant...
Based on what definition?
