This was an FReepmail response I had to someone on this thread
So I did a search and found that
1.9% of men are gay
1.2% of women are lesbian
1.3% of men are bi-sexual
2.2% of women are bi-sexual
From this I would figure that this has very little affect on the numbers.

Probably has little effect on
this stat, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be interesting to know what percentage of homosexual males and females are subjected to violence by their "intimate partners." Since most male homosexuals are promiscuous, it is probably higher than for straight men, and while homosexual females are generally more committed, there is some documentation that they are significantly more violent than straight women.
As small as the numbers are, we do know this: in 2014, the DoD reported more than half of sexual assaults in the military involved men assaulting other men. More than half, despite male homosexuals being only ~2% of the male population.

From this I would figure that [homosexuality] has very little affect on the numbers. Maybe, but on the other hand, young black men are a small percentage of the population - 4%, maybe - but they commit a very disproportionate amount of murder and other violent crime.
