Wha...?
I think the complainer should have gotten a “boot lesson” from the father.
white girl.
Current events check:
WHAT was the race of the person who pulled this on her..?
Probably 95% chance, Id say.
...Sorry, you might not know any black people personally...this is a white liberal woman type of thing. Minimum of 5 angry bumper stickers likely on her car, too.
...title says man...no black man would care...definitely an angry limp wristed white guy ...did I mention gay?
“What kind of a father lets his daughter set up a lemonade stand completely out of his supervision?”
-
My kids did it all the time.
.
Contra costa county has changed since I left.
So was the picture of the daughte with police officers made up too?
HA..!
I didn’t mean blacks, I meant Latinos.
Currently the big Latino fear in Calif is ICE people telling you, “You’re working here illegally, go home”.
So whereas they usually just work hard and don’t cause problems, here in Calif there is some resentment and that’s energizing some of them in really unusual ways.
I go to Calif junkyards, have been for some time, was almost NEVER checked going out by the (97% latino) staff.
But NOW..?
I get checked EXTRAVAGANTLY, they really put on a show.
“Honky boy, huh...? Okay..!!!”
It’s simply cuz they CAN and I can tell they view it as pay-back.
You’re right —this USUALLY is a real uptight honky thing to pull.
NOW? Mmmmm.....that wouldn’t be my first guess.
Lucky for the girl she wasn’t in Los Angeles.
There are plenty of old farts around capable of just such meanness. More likely, however it was a young smartass communist irate that a child was allowed to flaunt government agency regulations. I know several such jerks.
Some forms of stupid can’t be fixed
An American father.
Its completely possible this is made up.
Only in your twisted, Obama-esque, post-American brain, Bramps.
What city was this in?
When my son was 8 years old he asked me if he could try to sell the citrus fruit I grew in the yard, I told him go ahead.
He bagged up the grape fruit at 10 to a bag, sold them for 2 dollars a bag.
When I got home from work he showed me his 180.00 dollars he earned.
Boy must have worked his tail off for the first time in his life.
(but we all hated grape fruit anyway).
Reminds me of a swap meet I went to once.
“Bolts $2.50 each”
(Free Beer with Every Bolt Purchase)
Concord, Pittsburg, Antioch would be my guesses in Contra Costa County, Calif.
Think the real question is what are the political leanings of the person who would do this?
I’d say definitely a lib. Maybe even a member of PETF (people for the ethical treatment of fruit) upset by the “murder” of lemons.
An angry woman who hates children due to her own guilt of having several abortions and now can’t have children of her own.
This is one case where snitches deserve to get stitches.
Back in about 1967 some kids I knew set up a kool-aid stand.
They got two boxes of Domino sugar cubes at the local head shop..each cube had a small red dot on it where a dose of LSD had been added.(It was legal then and the head shop gave them away)
They gave away a few free cubes with each kool-aid purchase.
Someone called the cops but they did not have anything to charge them with so they left.
They were NOT giving cubes to kids it was an adults only freebie.
Back then every boy and many girls carried a pocket knife to school and you were allowed to take your 22 rifle on the school bus for target and safety practice on the ball field.
Things sure were different back in the day.
...this is a white liberal woman type of thing
I know what you're saying. I've had many unpleasant experiences with busybody women who seem to have nothing better to do than look for places they can meddle. They must lead truly miserable lives.
However in this case, wasn't the busybody a man?
