Couldn’t help being reminded of:

Roger Miller — Kansas City Star

Got a letter just this mornin’ it was postmarked Omaha,
It was typed and neatly written offerin’ me this better job;
Better job, better wages, expenses paid and a car;
But I’m on TV here locally and I can’t quit, I’m a star

Kansas City Star, that’s what I are...

Can Papa John’s sue for theft of a trademark without prior authorization?

This is not the direction the rest of the libs are going. Jobs? Wages? They want entitlements, guaranteed income more government. The dems are going nowhere fast.

“Better be careful”

“Better not forget what life was like under Obama!”

Loved that song!

“I drive a big ol’ Cadillac with wire wheels, got rhinestones on the spokes,

“I got credit down at the grocery store and my barber tells me jokes,

“I’m the number one attraction in every supermarket parking lot,

“I’m the king of Kansas City, no thanks Omaha, thanks lot!

(stay tuned, gonna have a Popeye cartoon in a minute)

;^)

Anyone who lived through the Obama years know that slogan is a total lie...

Never hitting 3% GDP once does not lead to better jobs.

While using a recycling dumpster 8 or 10 years ago, I looked down to see multiple copies of the Dem congressional candidate’s Message Strategy notebook. Strategy: Promise Good Jobs. Promise High Wages. Promise Good Public Schools. Every election since, they recycle the same empty promises.

The “skills” meme is a new wrinkle. The Dems must intend to promise paid training programs. (Or Skills-Stamps, that can be attached to a Job Application without actual skills, but employers legally must act as if the applicant has them).

That sounds like a solid rat plan to me.

I’m sure it’s in progress in their think-tanks as we speak.

Haha...ask Small Business owners if they think a new slogan will erase the memory of 8 years of nightmarish over-regulation and bullying from the last time Dems were in charge.

There’s a big, brown cloud in the city,
And the countryside’s a sin.
An’ the price of life is too high to give up,
Gotta come down again.
When the world wide war is over and done,
And the dream of peace comes true.
We’ll all be drinkin’ free bubble-up,
Eatin’ that rainbow stew.
When they find out how to burn water,
And the gasoline car is gone.
When an airplane flies without any fuel,
And the sunlight heats our home.
One of these days when the air clears up,
And the sun comes shinin’ through.
We’ll all be drinkin’ free bubble-up,
An’ eatin’ that rainbow stew.

Eatin’ rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
All be drinkin’ free bubble-up,
An’ eatin’ that rainbow stew.

You don’t have to get high to get happy,
Just think about what’s in store.
When people start doin’ what they oughta be doin’,
Then they won’t be booin’ no more.
When a President goes through the White House door,
An’ does what he says he’ll do.
We’ll all be drinkin’ free bubble-up,
Eatin’ that rainbow stew.

Eatin’ rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
We’ll all be drinkin’ that free bubble-up,
Eatin’ some rainbow stew.

Eatin’ rainbow stew in a silver spoon,
Underneath that sky of blue.
All be drinkin’ that free bubble-up,
Eatin’ rainbow stew.

So suddenly, the Dems care about jobs?
What happened to “why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?”

So the Democrats are trying to play off of Trump's reputation as a deal maker by sloganeering that they make better deals?

Trump just has to say "Iran," or "North Korea," or "uranium," or "TPP," and laugh it off as saying "They made these deals last year, so why should you think that suddenly they will make better deals next year?"
