While using a recycling dumpster 8 or 10 years ago, I looked down to see multiple copies of the Dem congressional candidate’s Message Strategy notebook. Strategy: Promise Good Jobs. Promise High Wages. Promise Good Public Schools. Every election since, they recycle the same empty promises.

The “skills” meme is a new wrinkle. The Dems must intend to promise paid training programs. (Or Skills-Stamps, that can be attached to a Job Application without actual skills, but employers legally must act as if the applicant has them).

That sounds like a solid rat plan to me.

I’m sure it’s in progress in their think-tanks as we speak.
