I actually loved math through Trig. But then Calc. arrrrrrgh
I found calculus easy. But Linear Algebra was my downfall.
When you have the right professor, calculus and what it does is utterly fascinating. Just about all of what we have in technology would not be here without it.
I thought Algebra was for HS & Calculus was for College...
That is what I had in the 1970s.
But we put men on the moon then, now we drive Toyotas and cannot search a school locker.
Same here! College Calc kicked my backside.
Ok folks. Math in the morning.
First, complete the square for:
x[squared] + bx
Then, in a different problem, solve for x in:
ax[squared] + bx + c = 0. a, b, and c not equal to 0.
Show all work for both problems.
Same here. Excelled in logic, too. But got off the math bus when it came to calculus.
Yes, also we should recognize Ebonics as an official language, allow drinking and sex in class, make attendance in all classes optional, and most importantly, stop giving people those pesky grade-thingys that get in the way of their fun and whoring around (which is what College is all about).
