I am often amused at the way liberals, in their defense of their minority voting bloc, always manage to denigrate the intelligence and abilities of said constituents. They cannot be expected to learn algebra, or Shakespeare's plays, or get a proper I.D. for voting because the poor dears just aren't smart enough. Their view is very much like that of Scarlett O'Hara's father in Gone With the Wind:
