Sessions should have never recused himself and if he was going to recuse himself he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else, Trump told The New York Times.That happened a while back. If he feels that way then why hasn't he replaced him instead of just complaining about him? It is not like he is powerless. He is POTUS.

That happened a while back. If he feels that way then why hasn't he replaced him instead of just complaining about him? It is not like he is powerless. He is POTUS. Because it would look bad to instantly fire someone you just appointed. Anyway he is doing a good job in other spheres.

My guess is that President Trump is loyal to his friend and early supporter, Jeff Sessions.
But I believe the president’s patience with the attorney general is wearing thin.
Sessions recusing himself and not even discussing his intention with the president beforehand is outrageous.
