Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) said on Tuesday she cannot support a bill to repeal Obamacare without a replacement, even though she voted to repeal Obamacare in 2015.
Repealing Obamacare would fulfill a seven-year long promise Republicans made to the American people. Sen. Capito said in a statement, My position on this issue is driven by its impact on West Virginians. With that in mind, I cannot vote to repeal Obamacare without a replacement plan that addresses my concerns and the needs of West Virginians.

Last night, Hannity played clips of all these RINOs swearing to repeal Obamacare, back when they didn’t have the power to do it; now that they have the power, they are backing off. Frauds.
That was then, this is now.
That was then, this is now.
I knew she could do it!
She ‘grew’ in office!
Hey - being a lousy hypocrite is a politician’s prerogative!
And Cantoring their sorry asses is ours!
Is there a way to separate the Medicaid program from the rest of the Obamacare repeal? This seems to be the hangup, in that the Senators who have somehow reversed their vote, largely base it on the loss to the Medicaid programs within their states.
Eventually, of course the states are going to have to assume a much larger share of the Medicaid program themselves, or they shall have to scrutinize the programs as they exist in their state, and revise it accordingly.
There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch (TANSTAAFL).
It is The Affordable Care Act that must be repealed....obamacare is a buzz word.
She’s a class A jerk.
Without a replacement?
Apparently that jackass doesn’t believe in the free market of just 6 years ago.
what gives, b****???
She and the MurCowSki are both using this absurd, pathetic excuse.
I think they mean “replacing my Gravy Train” kickbacks.
They’re liars. They lie to get elected and then keep the big machine oiled, which keeps them in office. Donors and lobbyists own both parties.
Some states didn’t expand Medicaid, and I don’t think citizens of those states should have to pay for those that did. California alone enrolled millions in Medicaid.
Sounds like her “thinking has evolved.”
*spit*
What was the whole list of votes? She ain’t the only one.
There has been a slew of over emotional commercials here on D.C. radio asking her to vote no. Can’t picture WVA wanting this.
