Killer policeman Mohamed Noor has said he was 'startled' by his victim Justine Damond seconds before he opened fire. The cop has told friends about why he gunned down the bride-to-be, 40, in his first account of what happened Saturday night. DailyMail.com has spoken to those friends to reveal for the first time his account of what happened that night.

I agree, but just think about the case the defense attorney will put on:
Ten days before the Minneapolis incident, a NYC cop was ambushed in killed in her patrol car by a gunman that snuck right up on the car. So, just weeks later, these two cops answer a 911 call to a dark alley in the middle of the night. Is it a real call, or is it an ambush? As they're sitting there, trying to find out what's going on, they hear a loud bang, and a person suddenly appears at the driver's door.

I think the shooter was spooked before she ever showed up at the door- partly because they were sitting in a dark alley with their lights off. That's why he had his gunned pulled.

I'm not suggesting the shoot was justified, but it's hardly a slam-dunk case of a cop shooting the woman in cold blood.

Yes it’s true they may have been pressured to hire him, but they put him with another rookie... at least that’s what I read here. If I’m wrong about that, sorry.

It just sounds like there is some major mismanagement involved in this case. Yes the shooter is a killer who deserves many years in prison, but someone up the chain screwed up badly.

According to other reports she had walked down the alley because the car had passed her home and the alley was well lit and Justine was already talking to the driver who said that he was not alarmed by the woman.

If true it would not be that she rushed up to the car out of the dark.
