In a statement, 60 year-old Pierre de Villiers said he had tried to keep the armed forces fit for an ever more difficult task within the financial constraints imposed on it, but was no longer able to sustain that.
"In the current circumstances I see myself as no longer able to guarantee the robust defense force I believe is necessary to guarantee the protection of France and the French people, today and tomorrow, and to sustain the aims of our country," he said.

There really is no point in a robust military if you allow your own country to be colonized.
That doesn’t apply just to France.
What were they arguing about? The size of the surrender flags?

Just like obummer, get rid of any general wanted to defend the Country!
Wish we had General’s like that during the Obama reign of terror. Instead Obama had his hands full shaking them off his legs and getting their tongues out of his ears.
Get rid of the Army and let the Foreign Legion take care of business.
