Multiple sources have confirmed to KSTP Monday morning that the identity of the Minneapolis police officer who shot and killed a woman Saturday in southwest Minneapolis is Mohamed Noor.
Noor joined the department in March 2015 and is currently assigned to the 5th Precinct in the southwest part of the city.
A source with direct knowledge of the shooting said Monday that the woman was shot multiple times. The source said that Noor was sitting in the passenger seat at the time of the shooting.
Noor reportedly shot across his partner who was the driver of the squad at the time. The shooting occurred at 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Incompetent cop. The tragedy is he probably won't suffer anything worse than dismissal from the force over this.
Let me guess...... Sudden Jihad syndrome. Mohamed Noor freaked out from a tall blond woman? Got triggered.
Minneapolis....... this means the shooter cop is Somalian.
Shooting across, as the passenger in the car, toward the window where your other cop is the driver, at the gal standing there? I would be curious how he pulled the weapon while in a sitting position. Something bout this story doesn’t really sound logical. And the driver-cop? You’d have to be pretty tense after the bullet missed you by four to six inches, and hitting the gal.

Mohamed Noor is the newest Somali police officer in Minneapolis.
“Officer Noor has been assigned to the 5th Precinct, where his arrival has been highly celebrated, particularly by the Somali community in and around Karmel Mall,” says Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges. “The community even hosted a meet and greet event (see pics) to welcome him. A wonderful sign of building trust and community policing at work.”

I want to take a moment to recognize Officer Mohamed Noor, the newest Somali officer in the Minneapolis Police Department.

I want to know the history of this cop, NOT running the body cam ?
Did they give them, minorities, a pass on not having to run body cams?

Somali or whatever.....I have never heard of a cop shooting across his partner in a squad car. It is beyond the rules and beyond crazy and will ruin your hearing for months or for life.
