Cosmo DiNardo made a deal to sell marijuana to Tom Meo and Mark Sturgis He planned to rob them with the help of his suspected accomplice, Sean Kratz DiNardo first shot Meo first and he screamed, then Sturgis started running away He shot at Sturgis until he ran out of bullets, then he ran over Meo They then allegedly used the same backhoe to move the bodies to the roaster DiNardo and Kratz, both 20, have been charged with murder, conspiracy and abuse of corpse in connection with the slayings of the four men

The County DA already took the Death Penalty off the table when Cosmo ‘cooperated’ in locating the 4th body — which wasn’t with the other 3. Frankly, I think the DA folded early for the reasons you state. He gave away the death penalty because with Tom Wolf, and liberal activists in PA, he knew he’d never get it anyway.
It’s a perfect area for a mob family to ‘dump’ bodies. Very close driving time from NNJ and NYC. Just off a relatively quiet bridge crossing (no tolls). Couple turns and your in the woods. The police will be digging there for every wise guy who came up missing over the last 5 - 10 years.

A wrongful death finding against the parents seems a likelihood. They're gonna be busy for the next 10 years.
