He’s nearby, but Didi is in and out of the hideout making sure the other owl doesn’t come near again, much less inside! People are speculating that it’s one of the kids wanting a handout.
She’ll have none of that!
If Jasper is near by but not flying in to help defend, it must be one of the kiddos from the last clutch. Those two do seem to have a hard time getting shed of their offspring.
Of course, it would help a lot if they’d stop having clutches so close together.
I’ll have to check in on her in a bit. Need to grab a shower now that the house has FINALLY cooled off. I was sweating in here all day. Ick!
