The Trudeau government is dismissing severe criticism from the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops over the administrations linkage of foreign aid with abortion funding.
Trudeaus, development minister, Marie-Claude Bibeau, called abortion a tool to end poverty in an interview with CTV News.
The bishops president, Douglas Crosby, had written to Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland on June 29, condemning the Liberal governments equating womens rights with the right to abortion and sexual reproductive rights' and asked why the federal government was insisting that these rights are at the core of Canadian foreign policy.
Crosby continued: Has Canada forgotten that for a considerable population (both within Canada and abroad) the unborn child is regarded as a human being created by God and worthy of life and love? This moral position can be found among Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Orthodox Christians, a number of Protestant Christians, Roman and Eastern Catholics, in addition to many other people of good will, including non-believers.
But Trudeau minister Bibeau insists foreign aid will only be dispensed if that aid includes funding for abortion in the Third World.

Then what is it called when nations allow in waves of illiterate barbarians?
No wonder he supported the 10 million to the gitmo prisoner. So jihad is their new poverty strategy?
Sounds like Trudeau has come up with the “final solution” to the “Poverty Question.”
Well sure, so is shooting vagrants and burying them in mass graves.
But we don't do that because we're not barbarians.
Or maybe we are....
I’m guessing he will start euthanizing poor people soon, to battle poverty.
Responsible birth control or sterilization would be better tools.
Its a tool to end the populations of the West
I don’t see it being used on Africans or Middle-easterners.
Sanger favored sterilization.
Remember, the canard here is the alleged “war on poverty”. This is all a war to keep them in poverty, and not improve their character or their state in life.
Just like Civil Rights was a way to lift the minority? Since then the black family has been literally destroyed and there is more poverty in the black community than ever.
I guess if that doesn’t work you can just kill them.
Is that really how little you care?
Next time one of these louies complains about capital punishment that’s what we’ll tell them, ‘hey, it’s a tool to end Joanquil’s poverty’!
The Canadian bishops are responsible for the destruction of the Church in that country. 100% responsible. That pagan prime minister will march up to the archbishop for communion and get a photo-op any time he pleases. Who care about God when you can get the approval of the press?
Kill the poor to end poverty.
Novel concept.
Demanding that people support their own offspring is the best policy. The stats prove, repeatedly, that the best way to have a child in poverty is to be born outside a stable marriage. An unlimited demand for illegitimate babies leads to an unlimited supply, and virtually all of them will be poor.
Ladies, keep the legs together because these kids are yours to raise, not mine.
Abortion is, of course, killing them. What usually happens to a land that’s full of bloody crimes?
When Baby Doc became leader of the Liberal party, he imposed a rule that no-one who opposed abortion could be a candidate for the Liberal party.
So this “foreign aid” for abortions is not a surprise.
May God remove this evil ruler from power !
MORON, it’s also a way to END WESTERN CULTURE!
So is war.
And if abortion is such a “women’s right” how come it isn’t used in places we take over? Why isn’t it tried in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, etc?
Answer is probably that, when there is a world government, it won’t be an option, it will be mandatory.
Truth is, we’re slaves to these people, all of us. Global Warming isn’t real, it’s a tool to reduce the world’s population.
Oh, come on! Dont get your panties in a twist. They are only going to abort the poor babies!
