I’m not certain but I don’t think you have complete control over which ads appear on your page.
I think this is just one of six commissioners, and not the chairman, who is proposing an investigation. It is far from settled an investigation will actually happen.

Why is she still a commissioner? Her term expired ten years ago!
The real question is: is there a 4th vote to allow the investigation .... a RINO on the FEC?
Wikipedia: Although Weintraub’s term ended April 30, 2007 and she is not eligible for reappointment, by statute she continues in office until her successor takes office...
she was first appointed uner George W. Bush in 2002 and has been there ever since. how come?

Is the FEC also holding hearings about Facebook allowing advertisers representing other foreign entities to advertise on its site during the campaign?—such as the Mexican and Saudi front groups Zuckerberg has been supporting?
