After my active duty stint I did a few years in the USAR in the early 70's and we spent two "summer camps" at what was then Camp Drum.Middle of nowhere and WWII wooden barracks is all I remember.

A far cry from Fort Drum and the 10th Mountain Division.I recall having talked to a regular Army 1LT who had spent the previous winter there.He said that many parts of the base were left unplowed and in those areas the buildings completely disappeared under the snow.
