The Russian “hacking” narrative is worded to fool people who are utterly clueless as to how any of this stuff actually works. For all of their professed hipster progressiveness, the Dems are clueless on technology. This includes their media outlets. Podesta is still waiting on bank transfer from the Nigerian royal family. CNN has just discovered that there are things on the interwebs called “memes” that are sometimes “gifs” (and sometimes not).
Just because Seth Rich downloaded the emails to a USB drive doesn’t mean that the Russians didn’t also hack into the DNC server. And just because the Russians hacked into the DNC server doesn’t mean Seth Rich didn’t also download the emails to a USB device. The point is that it was the content of those emails, revealing the corruption of the DNC, that damaged Clinton’s campaign. Neither Seth Rich nor the Russians wrote those emails.
