Full title:CLASS ACT: President Trump Picks Up Marines Hat and Puts It Back On His Head After the Wind Carries It Away (VIDEO)
Saturday, President Trump picked up the hat of a Marine that was blown off due to the turbulence from the Presidents helicopter.
As the President approached Marine One at Andrews Air Force Base just outside D.C. after returning home from Hamburg, he bent over and picked up a Marines white hat that blew off his head and onto the ground amid turbulence from the helicopter. Trump placed the hat on the Marines head and patted him on the arm, but immediately after doing so, the wind carried the hat off again.
The President chased down the hat for the Marine and returned it to him once again. Total class act.

They will say it was un-Presidential of him to chase the Marine's cover not once but twice.
Proud of the Marine as well for not losing his composure. Didn't break his position of attention once!
Psst... Gateway Pundit... Marines do not wear “hats”. It’s a cover.
Unfortunately that young marine will still feel the wrath of the squadron SgtMaj. Just sayin’.
One can imagine George W. Bush doing something like this, but never Obama. Clinton would have done it only as part of a carefully staged setup for the cameras.
POTUS, Donald J. Trump....a class act......with all his wealth and riches, he still is a man of the common people!!! Thanks...by chasing this “Marine’s hat” and offering to bring and treat Little Charely, who the British National Health Service would slaughter, here to the USA to try and save his life....we, the American people know where your true heart and soul are!!!
God bless you, Mr. President “Trump”...you and your magnificent “American” family!!! I pray for God to watch over & protect you every second of every day!!! Thanks for honoring our mighty military and, more thanks for protecting the right to life in a tiny British tot!!!
For what? He acted properly. Had he chased the cover down himself he would definitely be in trouble.
Sharp looking haircut on that Marine. I hope he doesn’t get any type of reprimand from his sergeant.
I saw the video. Trump, like W, treats people in uniform like human beings. It’s like the picture of W holding the umbrella over the Marine in the rain. Classy men.
For not having his cover secure in the first place.
Re The American President Vs............???
Thanks. Beat me to it.
wtf is a fi?
Semper Fidelis !

Question for those who served: Would it have been better for the commander in chief to have said “at ease” or whatever command is appropriate, then handed the Marine his cover?
“Affirmative action half-wit.”
A lot of that going around these days.
Great post.
Uh - you did notice the strong wind blowing in the video, didn't you? I should assume that you've never worn a Barracks Cover in a wind - you would have known through experience that they fly like Frisbees when a gust comes up.
Proud of our President.
President Trump did the right thing by getting that Marine's cover and placing it back on his head. It's been a long time since I've been this proud of a President.
No.
I never see that picture without thinking of this:
Several years ago my choir performed as part of a memorial dedication in our town. The guest of honor was Two Jima Medal Of Honor recipient Robert Dunlop. Is was a misty day and a Marine stood on either side of his wheelchair holding an umbrella. After the ceramony one of our teenage members wondered aloud how they “got stuck” doing this duty. Luckily one of my fellow baritones is an old Marine and he politely explained a little about the spirit of the Marines and what an honor it was for these young men just to be with an Iwo Jima MOB recipient.
MOB=MOH. Damn autocorrect.
Thanks. Not judging Trump’s actions, just unfamiliar with military procedure. His heart was certainly in the right place.
