I strongly pressed President Putin twice about Russian meddling in our election. He vehemently denied it. I've already given my opinion.....
...We negotiated a ceasefire in parts of Syria which will save lives. Now it is time to move forward in working constructively with Russia! 7:37 AM - 9 Jul 2017
It is time to move on.
I want to see the details of the “meddling”, in full, now!
Enough of this inyourendo.
What does the President mean “I’ve already given my opinion” ? Can you (anyone) refer to a link to his opinion?
Could be be referring to his press conference in Poland? If so then that was a complete mixed message.
The meddling happened when it was leaked that Hillary was getting debate questions in advance from CNN.
“I strongly pressed President Putin twice about Russian meddling in our election.”
How embarrassing for him, knowing that there was no meddling but being forced by Hillary, via the MSM, to bring up the subject. I hope he accompanied his “pressing” with a wink and a nod.
Obviously he doesn't think Russia hacked our election. Otherwise why would he be forming an "impenetrable Cyber Security unit" with them to prevent it? You don't join with the fox to guard the hen house.
He needs to talk with his people then. Haley is out there saying everyone knows that Russia hacked our election.
And if there really was no meddling then he probably needs to stop saying that Obama did nothing to stop the meddling.
From hacking to collusion to meddling. Meddling is what great aunt’s do.
Haley didn’t say “hacked”. She said “meddled”. Meddling is not a crime. Hacking is.
No point in pandering to dems this way. Just reinforces their bs.
Thank you, Mr. President:
* For going to a meeting of nations and representing the United States in such a proud fashion
* For negotiating a cease fire in Syria, hopefully curtailing the the emigration from there.
* For standing up for Western Values.
* For the grace and charm of the First Lady and the First Daughter.
* For Standing with Russia to defeat ISIS
* For being Presidential
* for keeping us informed via your own medium
* most of all, for being President.
Let us all keep the President, his family, and his cabinet in our prayers.
So meddling is OK but hacking is not? Good to know.
He has moved on from “It could be Russia” to “It is Russia, but it could be other countries or individuals, too.” That is a much more defensible position.
Sorry for no link, but the post-Warsaw speech presser, July 6. Trump's opinion is maybe the taking of DNC emails was the Russians, maybe some other country, maybe some fat kid in the basement. He cites the Iraq-WMD reports as an example of the US IC getting something wrong, and the Iraq-WMD issue was vastly more grave than the lack of security on DNC e-mails.
At this point, it's up to the IC to make the case. It leveled the accusation.
Trump’s position is that he has no idea who did it and the evidence was destroyed when Podesta refused to turn over the server to the FBI.
Putin made the denial.
I’ll accept his denial over a Democrat lie, no matter how strongly or often repeated.
Of course the media won't let go, we know that. But we will move on and the media will be stuck on stupid for a long time.
You seem shocked. Do you understand what goes on in the world stage? Politics ain't beanbag, and international relations even less so. Meddle? What nations meddle? You'd be shocked. Your statement belies a naïveté - as if nations, some nations, behave honorably - none do. They behave in their best interests.
Bet you can't guess which nation spies on us the most?
Israel.
Good for them!
