President Donald Trump said Saturday the U.S. would contribute $50 million to a new World Bank fund conceived by his daughter that aims to help women entrepreneurs access capital and other support.
Ivanka Trump joined World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim on the sidelines of the Group of 20 world leaders' summit in Hamburg, Germany, to launch the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative.

lol, giving out welfare is not promoting capitalism.
It’s the opposite of capitalism.

Why are folks who are supposedly “Conservative” supportive of this, another form of affirmative action? A program that is for women only? I don’t get it.
I’m all about promoting business and entrepreneurship! But why do we have programs singling out beneficiaries by race or int his case, gender?

Uh, cowboy bob.....I don’t think it’s tax dollars. Just sayin’. Then again, if yer feelin’ jumpy, we could always file a class action law suit. You know where we each get about $5.00 and the lawyers get about $3.7 million. LOL! ;-)

If New Yorkers do not demand that idiots immediate resignation when he returns, then I have absolutely NO sympathy for them at ALL. I read stories about the subways being so bad now that people are leaving for work 2 to 3 hours early just to make the trip from Brooklyn to Manhattan. That is INSANE! You could walk the whole distance in that time which I wouldn’t doubt is what they end up doing anyway, and this effin’ d-bag is jetting off to Germany on the taxpayer dime just so he can play anarchist with a bunch of indoctrinated millennials.

Not a huge amount of money, but discriminatory, and probably will be dumped down the drain by the World Bank. Trump is indulging his favorite child.

It’s always easier to pledge other people’s money. If he cares so much about women entrepreneurs he should pledge his own money.
To: Cowboy Bob
If he identifies as female at the moment of signing the application a man should be able to apply for one of these loans.

U.S. would contribute $50 million to a new World Bank fund..............why are my tax dollars going to the World Bank fund? The only people that will help are the members of the World Bank. Time and time again in history shows us the money NEVER goes to where it is supposed to go. Why doesn't Invaka give 50mil of her money to the World Bank?

This is US government discrimination against men. Maybe. But all you have to do is wake up one morning, start feeling like a woman, collect the check and realize that your feeling is wearing off.

In today's world, $50 million is barely enough to bribe one congressman for a year.
Don't see how it will help anyone, but if it makes Ivanka feel good she should donate her personal money and not the taxpayers'.
