Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell pushes for a limited measure if the GOP's Obamacare repeal fails.

McConnell argued that a smaller bill would have to focus on helping private insurance markets.

The senator's comments indicate that Republicans may have to negotiate with Democrats over fixes for the health-care system.

Mitch McConnell: If We Cannot Repeal Obamacare, We Should Deal with Democrats

And now we are where the GOPe is most comfortable.

Since the Bush family re-captured the White House, their message is that the Republicans manage the federal bureaucracy better than the Democrats.

They have no philosophical problems with government expansion; they just want to be the ones in control.

What Constitutional authority gives any branch of government the right to market a commercial product?

Sen Mike Lee, Sen Raul Labrador are on the same wave length as Paul and Cruz. The problem is McConnell ... and Susan Collins?

I said this quite awhile back. Leave Obamacare in place and pass a simple bill saying it supercedes Obamacare’s mandates and that people can buy any insurance they want.

IOW. We’re going to give more money to the insurance companies just like Dems want.

Trump needs to demand a repeal & replace bill. Although I know that will not happen.

If insurance companies were allowed to craft a cafeteria of coverages with a price for each coverage and discounts for taking all of them, then it would be like the auto insurance industry.

Eg
$50,000 limit on heart disease and diabetes,
$1,000,000 limit on cancer.
$100,000 for this
$500,000 for that

Power to the people. Let the consumer decide what he wants, and is willing to pay for.

At least that’s what he was told by his lobbyist pals - the ones who write the bills for him and the other 99 senators.

people can buy any insurance they want.

And insurance companies can offer any insurance they want.

And MediShare, Direct Pay, Medical Loans are on an equal footing with insurance as competitors.

That's what they've been trying to do.

Does anyone listen to this nonsense anymore?

The only thing they’re accomplishing is giving people a reason to stay home on election night.

Big health care, big pharma and big insurance give big political campaign donations.

The fact that our politicians can be bought is no surprise.

The surprise is that they can be bought so cheap.

What the lying GOP does not accurately state
is that Their RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE imposition
(from which THEY are EXEMPT)
was NOT repealed.

WAS NOT REPEALED.

Too many moderate Governors in the GOP who took OCare money expanding Medicaid in their respective states. Like dope it's addicting and not easily shunned. They let their Senators know. Sadly, the days of free market health care insurance is gone. Ronald Reagan warned us about this back in the sixties.

This is a great solution by Cruz.

It would give me back a product that I’m willing to purchase...and it would end up killing the 0bamacare insurance scam. That’s why Mitch doesn’t want it.

I’m going to holler about it to all three of my D.C. stooges.

I’m also committing to $ to primary opponents

It does seem that the billionaires, who are as numerous now as millionaires were a while back, have bought their own congress or senate person and the game is among themselves. Voters are outweighed, not out numbered. We have Pres Trump because he himself is a billionaire and an American First patriot who has the experience and knowledge to navigate the DC swamp of ME Firsters. God bless Pres Donald Trump for putting his shoulder to the wheel that the American voters asked him to. It will take all eight years of his presidency to make an appreciable dent in the preceding decades of leadership decay.

Trump should also just take a page from the Obama book and just issue blanket waivers for everyone until Congress gets its act together.
