At the POTUS/ FLOTUS level the detail prefers the principles NOT be armed. Security is the SS's job. Principles should flee and let the SS agents fight if it becomes necessary.

I don’t know if you happened to notice the size of some of those Secret Service types around the President and First Lady, but trust me...they are most definitely not to be messed with. At least two that I saw with the first couple yesterday are easily around 6’5” and fit as can be.

I disagree. She is well armed, and could disarm me in the wink of an eye. I wouldn't know what hit me and probably wouldn't care. ;)
