It will take 10,000 registered patients paying $1,250 per month, every month, out of pocket to add up to $150 million. There’s no health insurance to defray the costs. Every penny in profit and taxes on medical cannabis will come from our most severely ill residents

It’s PA. They still have govt run “State Stores” to sell liquor. That they’re screwing this up is no surprise.

And local hack politicians have financial stakes in the “approved” local dispensaries.

Pa.'s medical cannabis law ...
IIRC, there are no proven remedies attributed to medical cannabis. It's all about the money (i.e. taxes).

Get this.

Virginia just legalized marijuana but only in order to manufacture cannabis oil that can only be given to people with Epilepsy.
So we have that going for us.

Vung Tau, RVN. $1 American for one pack of Salems or Marlboros with the cigarettes emptied of tobacco and re-filled with prime weed with each end twisted shut and each pack re-sealed. One such cigarette shared amongst three would provide around eight hours of bliss while maintaining an alert edge. Perfect for watching those firefights in the jungles just up from the beach. Oh, it was the summer of 1970.
