A family friend of little Charlie Gard joined Nigel Farage on his LBC radio show Thursday in a final attempt to save the terminally ill 10-month-old baby.
As the state-approved "doomsday clock" moved closer to midnight for Charlie, Maria Tatalovic pleaded for President Trump to intervene and keep the baby alive.
“President Trump, I never thought I would actually direct a message to you but please save this baby,” Maria said.
“We just need him to be released, transferred and receive treatment which will be paid for. We’re not asking for anyone to treat [Charlie] who doesn’t want to."
“It’s about choice, it’s about parental rights, it’s about human rights and it’s about the right to life for this baby who deserves it.”

I thought President Trump has already offered to help this beautiful baby..he said if there is anything he can do to help bring him here he would do it

Ditto. I think tomorrow is the day when the hospital withdraws treatment.
Too bad they just couldn’t smuggle the kid out, but I understand he needs life saving equipment to be moved.
I also thought about how fantastic a dramatic rescue would be.
Only thing is, the child is likely to die soon anyway, if no new treatment is provided. If Charlie happened to die while in American custody, however well meant our motives, the Americans and Trump in particular would be blamed for his ‘tragic and untimely’ demise. It’s a very delicate situation.
All our president can really do is wait and see if the British Medical system will give consent and assistance in a safe transfer of the patient. We cannot just invade and abduct, which is what they would call the action.

Can’t Americans bring their own equipment into Britain? That way NHS doesn’t have to contribute boo.

I guess this is the same friend. She said they are being mean to the mother in the hospital.
Maybe baby Gard’s life can still be saved.
Maybe not.
But if they make the decision to let him die, that is a decision that they CAN’T take back. And if they let him die, they may never know if he could have been saved.
Can they live with themselves after making that choice?
He already made the offer. What more do they want?
