Jeff Zucker spoke about Trump's frequent attacks on CNN in a new interview
'My job is to remind everyone they need to stay focused doing their job', he said
He added: 'He's trying to bully us, and we're not going to let him intimidate us. You can't lose confidence and let that change the way you conduct yourselves'
CNN has been under fire this week for allegedly 'blackmailing' the person who created a meme that was lifted then tweeted out by Donald Trump on Sunday
It showed the president tackling a figure with CNN's logo for a head and hitting it
CNN President has hit back at Donald Trump and his near-constant attacks on the network, saying he is comfortable going to battle with the commander-in-chief every day.
Jeff Zucker, CNN's 53-year-old head honcho, spoke about what it is like for his network to find itself so frequently in the president's crosshairs.
'I'm comfortable going to work in Thunderdome every day,' Zucker told the New York Times, referencing the steel cage where people fight for their lives in the Australian film franchise, Mad Max.
'My job is to remind everyone that they need to stay focused doing their job.

I predict a KO in the first round.
They sound more like a crime organization every day. Do they ever just report the news?
Note that in the last of the following quotations on the subject, Jefferson noted, "But the fact being once established, that the press is impotent when it abandons itself to falsehood," he declared, "I leave to others to restore it to its strength by recalling it within the pale of truth."
"[A despotic] government always [keeps] a kind of standing army of newswriters who, without any regard to truth or to what should be like truth, [invent] and put into the papers whatever might serve the ministers. This suffices with the mass of the people who have no means of distinguishing the false from the true paragraphs of a newspaper." --Thomas Jefferson to G. K. van Hogendorp, Oct. 13, 1785. (*) ME 5:181, Papers 8:632"[I have seen] repeated instances of the publication of what has not been intended for the public eye, and the malignity with which political enemies torture every sentence from me into meanings imagined by their own wickedness only... Not fearing these political bull-dogs, I yet avoid putting myself in the way of being baited by them, and do not wish to volunteer away that portion of tranquillity, which a firm execution of my duties will permit me to enjoy." --Thomas Jefferson to John Norvell, 1807. ME 11:226
"Conscious that there was not a truth on earth which I feared should be known, I have lent myself willingly as the subject of a great experiment, which was to prove that an administration, conducting itself with integrity and common understanding, cannot be battered down even by the falsehoods of a licentious press, and consequently still less by the press as restrained within the legal and wholesome limits of truth. This experiment was wanting for the world to demonstrate the falsehood of the pretext that freedom of the press is incompatible with orderly government. I have never, therefore, even contradicted the thousands of calumnies so industriously propagated against myself. But the fact being once established, that the press is impotent when it abandons itself to falsehood, I leave to others to restore it to its strength by recalling it within the pale of truth. Within that, it is a noble institution, equally the friend of science and of civil liberty." --Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Seymour, 1807. ME 11:155
John Kerry(who served in Viet Nam): Bring it on!
>>He added: ‘He’s trying to bully us, and we’re not going to let him intimidate us. You can’t lose confidence and let that change the way you conduct yourselves’<<
IOW: keep making sh!~t up.
Trump vs CNN
CNN outnumbered. Advantage Trump!!!
I hope CNN reporters dont hurt themselves.
When CNN reporters are instructed to report facts, that will be news.
Is this really the media’s job, to antagonize and make stories up to hurt the President? If Fox did that to Obama the FCC would have pulled their license, or at least their press passes.
It appears they -- as does the vast majority on the Left -- simply cannot accept reality ... the reality that they and the Left continue to suffer defeat after defeat and the reality that it's the intolerant Leftists at CNN are, in fact, doing the "bullying" they profess to hate so much.
AT&T 1-800-331-0500
Their JOB is to report the news of the day, not make it, not manipulate and certainly not be so blatantly partisan.
They just don’t get it. President Trump is not a typical weak kneed Republican President, he welcomes their deceit.
CNN's job is anti-Americanism.
Their clients are tyrants around the world that let CNN International broadcast in their countries. CNN's payday comes from that.
CNN will not change.
Typical libs, when they are wrong, they double down and dig their hole deeper. RUSH was talking about this today. They just don’t get it.
If no one is listening, does CNN matter?
Crosshairs? LOL, poor choice of words about the Csnowflake News Network CNN.
