They will come.
For The FR House, is built upon the ROCK!!!
Is this today's FReepathon thread? I think so! I hope so! I have lost track of dates and of days of the week.
As much as I was burned-out from our last two and one half month long FReepathon, I fully intended to here for opening day!
Unfortunately, for me, I was in traction for 5 days due to
Achilles Tendinitis which I acquired from too much walking in soft deep sand at the beach. I don't walk correctly regardless, due to my Scoliosis and arthritic lower back, so the strain on those tendons proved too much, particularly when I had to climb the soft sand bank to go home. I use the RICE remedy: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.

The Sandbank
Often times, I would sit down and sort of schooch my way up the bank, and other times, I would go up side ways. Finally, it all just became too painful and I had to have an MRI. Luckily, I only have severe sprains or strains, no tears or ruptures.
I think I'm going to buy a cane! My Louie is so sweet. He stays right along side of me while I torture myself getting up that sand bank. There's always a nice man or two to help me, but I hate that, and I can't risk a re-injury. I'm going to wait for a cane and the leg braces.
I never realized how much we use our Achilles tendons until I fell in shallow water while collecting shells! The only one to help me up was an Army Veteran with one arm.
