This insanity has to stop. Holder and Obama are still very much active wrecking this country. If CA passes this, you can be sure that other leftist states will do similarly. Note how far to the left this measure is compared to Clinton and Republican majority 1994 law intended to prevent this... Why does the suicidal left hate our citizenry and futire well-being so much?

“Boasting a constitutional legal sign-off written by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, De Leon’s bill has support from police departments in Los Angeles and several other counties throughout the state.

Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, R-Rocklin, pointed out that Holder was paid for his analysis and released his approval of the bill one day before announcing his intention to run for president in 2020.

Kiley questioned Holder’s reliability and asked why De Leon paid for Holder’s analysis rather than rely on one prepared by the Legislative Council. Kiley said Holder refused to meet with GOP representatives to discuss the measure, opting instead to meet only with Democrats.”

“Conflicting federal laws could tie the measure up if it is approved and signed into law. Legislation signed by President Bill Clinton in the mid-1990s bars states from creating laws that restrict communication with federal law enforcement agencies.

Meanwhile, judicial decisions at the federal level have also created precedence that the federal government cannot commandeer local law enforcement resources for the purpose of immigration enforcement, nor can they force states to use resources to further federal goals.”

The Supreme Court ruled that this was strictly a Federal matter in a case that Obama brought against Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.

That was only a few years ago. I don’t see them pulling a 180 with Gorsuch on the Court. This is for show and to please the moonbat base.

At some point, someone’s going to actually run a smart campaign in California and rather than pandering to liberal activists, will actually campaign to first, second and third generation ‘Hispanics’ in the state, asking the most poignant of questions:

Why are liberals sacrificing your children and your community to protect the criminal illegals? And at what point do you stop being the victim of these crimes by people repeatedly deported and say enough is enough already?

“If Jeb Bush or Chris Christie or John Kasich had been elected, this bill would not be necessary,” De Leon said.

That is why they were NOT elected!

Although their taxes will RISE in LaLa-land
and their safety will TANK,
it will improve the safety and decrease taxes
for the rest of Americans.

Too bad for the Americans stuck with
California’s AINOs and criminals.

The logical fallacies are too many to count.......Arrest them, bring in federal troops if necessary, but ENFORCE THE LAW.

“Senate Bill 54 is not about safeguarding criminals,” De Leon said.

So, this bill is about safeguarding criminals.

“Arrests of undocumented immigrants with no previous criminal record are up 150 percent since Trump became president.”

And the problem with that is...?

California needs to forfeit electoral votes and congressional representation if they choose to this. California’s voice in federal govt should be based only its legal population.

If California does this I predict working people leaving in masses. If they let every illegal immigrant in there won’t be enough low wage jobs to hand out.

I also predict a surge in terrorist attacks. Anyone will be allowed to walk in and start their carnage.

Opponents call it a “sanctuary state measure” that goes against federal immigration law and obstructs the ability of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to do their job.

IF Trump does not pull funding for KALIFORNIA if this occurs then he has lost my support. This state Sanctuary bill is nullification pure and simple and is part of what started the FIRST Civil War.

Causes of the Civil War: The Nullification Crisis

Geographic Importance: The Nullification Crisis was geographically important because it was centered around the South. Because the Tariff of Abominations hurt the southern economy, sectional tensions escalated. Southerners such as John C. Calhoun began to rally around the idea of nullification in order to have their voice heard. Clashes Between the North and the South: Overview: The Nullification Crisis arose due to the protective tariff of 1828 or the Tariff of Abominations.

John C. Calhoun wanted to nullify the Tariff of Abominations Andrew Jackson saw nullification as a way to disrupt the Union

A dinner was held on April 13, 1830 in which Calhoun assembled for states' rights and to promote his cause; Jackson made it clear that the Union must be preserved

I don’t know but I have to imagine that Mexican drug cartel money is funding this and the drug cartels own many politicians. Some people stand to get rich or richer once the cartels and gangs fully control everything. The politicians can grant favors to the crime bosses and get paid well for it. That is the only rational explanation for this.

“Why does the suicidal left hate our citizenry and futire well-being so much?”

In the case of California, other than Brown, the problem is that Mexicans control our government. See Tagline. 59 years old, Native Californian. I watched it go from Reagan country to a toilet.

Start jailing local and state officials for refusing to cooperate.

They’re refusal is because they want money and power from voting blocs. Begin stripping then of money and power and their convictions will melt away.

State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon, D-Los Angeles, said his measure, Senate Bill 54 or the “California Values Act,” is intended to prevent state and local law enforcement from cooperating with what he calls the “Trump Deportation Machine.”

The reconquista has won in the peoples republic of kalifornia. They are appointing themselves the anti-Trump state.

The passage of state laws overriding federal law started with marijuana laws. Nobody did anything about it in the Federal government, so now states are emboldened to do more.

NY and CA plan to create a million new citizens, with no authority to do so. Until somebody goes to jail for breaking the law, this will not stop. We are going 90 MPH downhill into anarchy.
