According to Senator Ted Cruz, CNN’s threats to dox the Reddit user who created the Trump wrestling CNN video could be a violation of Georgia law.
CNN discovered the identity of the Reddit user who made the video and essentially threatened to reveal his identity if he continued to post unsavory content.
Cruz said if CNN tracked down the Reddit user through his IP address and then used that information to threaten him, they could be in violation of a Georgia law.
CNN headquarters are located in Atlanta, GA.
The GA Code explains that someone could be guilty of “Theft by extortion” if they threaten to “disseminate any information tending to subject any person to hatred, contempt, or ridicule or to impair his credit or business repute.”

Funny that CNN could track dowb this guy in one day...but have been unable to track down any of Obama’s former girlfriends in 10 years!!
That does indeed seem to be the point here. But it is obviously wrong:
Unless you offer a home warranty, I won’t buy your house.

Unless you replace the property management team, I won’t commit to being a limited partner. No I will make sure you are swimming with the fishes with concrete goulashes!
Unless you can ensure no one will put ketchup on their scrambled eggs, I won’t come to your brunch. No I will make you swallow every ketchup bottle and then I will take a sledge to your stomach!
Seemingly, all of these statements would be illegal in Ted Cruz’s world. No it is the implied threat of bodily harm, get it?!!
The GOPe and the DNC will protect the CNN.
Doxing: Using private information gleaned from the internet to attack someone with whom you disagree, often by publishing their personal info, opening them to abuse and possibly, danger.
They are the Enemy. Wade into them. Spill their blood, Shoot them in the belly. Set them on fire. If they want a war, let it begin here.
In that case, Reddit violated its own security policy and could be added as a defendant.
