Stick a fork in his political career. I haven't liked him since his walk on the tarmac with obama.

What an absolute slob, in every sense of the word. I’m glad he is nothing in the Trump administration!

I tend to agree. That looked about as bad as it gets for a professional politician...In the Trump era, this is not going go over well for Christie.

I would have forced their hand and if they did arrest me, I would file a federal lawsuit for deprivation of rights under the color of law.

At what point does the NJ Constitution, Code, and Legislature come into play here?

Closing the parks to tourists and sending home the park employees is one thing but it’s a whole other can of worms evicting home owners.

Sounds like they are working from the same playbook.

Some are more equal than others.

To be a bigger prick Christie would have to gain weight.
What law allows people to be forced from their homes while this fat bastard lounges on the beach?

Preach it, brother!

I don't care if CNN has fun with this. It would provide some variety to their non-stop stop-Trump Russia "resistance" 24/7 programming, too.

Christie claimed he’d already planned this vacation beforehand...

My guess is many other families had also already planned vacations beforehand...

I don’t give a damn if they elect the strongest democrat they got for governor over this POS....

At first I thought it was an “in your face” because the Democrats have been the ones stonewalling the budget and a big FU to the press. But nowt that I read this. Screw him. I wish I knew the real reason Trump did not give him a White House position.

The more I think about this, the less I believe it. You can’t force people from their homes. I want to research this.

When it came down to choosing his cabinet, omitting Christie was a demonstration of Trump’s smarts. Christie had already self-destructed repeatedly right in front of the public’s eyes. He signed the NJ bill that forbids mental health therapists from treating minors who have unwanted attractions. He had said he would not. He tried so hard to pretend to be Obama’s buddy. The hugs seen round the world. That awful GW bridge fiasco? The court says he had nothing to do with it.

I remember Christie appearing on a talk show and eating a doughnut as a joke. This guy like to push his weight around.
