For the same reason, I'm happy that Christie didn't wind up with a high-level position in the Trump cabinet. Once Christie's term is up, we won't hear from him again in national politics, and good riddance.
Christie is a catastrophy. They took pictures of him and his family all alone on some Jersey beach that was closed to the general public because of this stunt. When challenged, he said get elected governor and then you get this privilege.

During the primaries, I grudgingly gave Christie some credit for exposing Marco Rubio for the empty suit that he is. Other than that, I can't think of anything positive to say about him. Christie has always been a crook and I'm glad that the President has more or less washed his hands of him.
