Carl Bernstein is calling on journalists to commit to a "different kind of reporting" in response to a "malignant presidency" unlike any the country has seen before.
"We're in foreign territory," Bernstein said Friday on CNN's "New Day."
He added, "We have never been in a malignant presidency like this before. It calls on our leaders, it calls on our journalists to do a different kind of reporting, a different kind of dealing with this presidency and the president."

President Trump is calling for a different kind of reporting too. He’s asking for honesty and objectivity. That would be something new from CNN, NYTimes, and WaPo.

The ancient and failing Carl Bernstein is a day late and a dollar short: a “different kind of reporting” has been under way for months: it’s called fake news, and fake news is pretty much the ONLY kind of “news” that’s been reported by the main stream media since Trump was elected President.
So, basically, make stuff up—right Carl??
Heck, first use the same journalism they did with Obama:
“He’s the greatest. Everything is great. Anyone who disagrees is a racist. Any problems are some one else’s fault.”
Here is what I read between the lines: Bernstein is suggesting a coup via the 25th Amendment.
Stop making things up and lying. That would be a good start.
Keith Olbermann suggested that BEFORE Trump even took office.
And John Schindler, a former intelligence analyst turned columnist suggested it (casually) on twitter yesterday.
Billionaire - with grown children who love and respect him... Trump's crime was he came to Washington and did NOT 'pivot' toward corrupt so-called 'elites'.
Instead he rolled up his sleeves and started working to keep his promises to the American people.
That's why they hate him.
The press is a pack of rabid wild dogs running after 'shiny'... What a disgusting profession.

And Bernstein has been repeating the same BS about Trump's mental state ever since the election. I think this latest Bernstein outburst is a result of their Russia attacks failing. However, it contains some troubling facts: There are many in entrenched positions who would like to use the 25th amendment to replace him.
