Carl Bernstein is calling on journalists to commit to a "different kind of reporting" in response to a "malignant presidency" unlike any the country has seen before.
"We're in foreign territory," Bernstein said Friday on CNN's "New Day."
He added, "We have never been in a malignant presidency like this before. It calls on our leaders, it calls on our journalists to do a different kind of reporting, a different kind of dealing with this presidency and the president."

What’s the plan for dealing with “malignant” pos like Bernstein.
I doubt he means be honest and truthful.......
The solution is simple, malignant reporting, Duh. C’mon CNN and Bernstein, get on with it already.
What we have is a malignant media and a malignant leftist Democrat party and they are in lock step in assaulting anyone who disagrees with them or thwarts them in any way.
Bernstein is a drunk malignant reporter.
I’m sure Bernstein has frantically been digging for any dirt he can find on Trump since before the election. Obviously he hasn’t found anything. Attacking his sanity is all they left.
But just how mentally deranged can a squeaky clean multi-millionaire be? Seriously?
Best election, best president, evah!
All “The Left” requires to hate your guts whether your president or Joe Sixpack is that you don’t approved of sodomy, your prolife and your against OPEN Borders.
That is Bernstein’s and his fellow lefty’s core agenda and more than enough to HATE you and even kill you in certain circumstances.
“The Right”, in many cases, still wants to make nice with these bastards.
So, a “Different Kind Of Reporting” is what they call Yellow Journalism these days.
He just came up with an excuse for journalistic malpractice.
Well then you and your comrades should go home. Try Germany or France or Belgium where you can get to know your Islamonazi bedfellows up close and personal.
This Leftist scum helped pull off one coup, he’s trying for a second.
I honestly don’t see how it can get any more yellow than it already is these days.
In just one week, Trump has dealt body blows to CNN, forced to fire three people and retract a story; PsychoJoe&Yoko, who were shown to be liars; and AP (had to retract a Trump story). Life is good. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3565790/posts?page=2#2
>>>”... a “malignant presidency” unlike any the country has seen before.<<<
Uh, excuse me dumbass - where have you been for the eight years of Obama’s malignancy?
I remember when Bernie Goldberg ruffled all of the feathers of the 4th Estate with his book, “Bias”, in 2001 and this was after decades of relentless left lean in the MSM. Since Ronald Reagan, with the exception of Newt Gingrich, we have had no one leading the conservatives that has wanted to challenge this bias of MSM and popular culture. Even Rush, as strong as he is/was, found problems with his personal problems and choices of issues.
Now, President Trump, a veteran of antagonistic New York City, has decided to bring a gun to this gun fight! Gee, the LEFT suddenly thinks that it is unfair for somebody to return fire! What a tragedy!
How about starting with THE TRUTH?
No changes were warranted for the malignant Clinton and Obama presidencies. They are only needed for Repub Presidents.
Page 274 of the Deborah Davis book Katherine the Great published in 1979:
“Woodward and
Bradlee learned of Bernstein’s relationship with [Buster] Riggins [a
notorious DC pimp connected to the mob] in 1978, when a District of
Columbia police detective told Post reporter Timothy Robinson that
Bernstein was was getting free material from Riggin’s pornographic
bookstore in exchange for tips on police vice investigations (The detective told the author he also received complaints about Bernstein writing bad checks to prostitutes in the early 1970s, during his Watergate reporting, but did not press charges because he thought Bradlee and Mrs. Graham would accuse him of being politically motivated.).”
That detective was Carl Shoffler, the arresting officer at the June 17, 1972 Watergate burglary.
