NATO meetings are taking place in Europe.
Right now Erdogan is toning down trying to appear to play nice. He won't for long.
Unless he feels there are actual consequences for Turkey if he resumes his invasion.
The Syrian's are not buying any of his lies. They know exactly what Erdogan the Islamist actually is.
