Greta Van Susteren is out at MSNBC less than six months after she started at the cable channel.
Van Susteren broke the news of her own ouster Thursday, tweeting "I'm out at MSNBC" shortly before the network issued its own announcement. Van Susteren's husband, John Coale, told CNNMoney, "They let her go," and added that she and MSNBC were "working out contract issues now."

CNNMoney also reported that Van Susteren was given no prior notice of the decision and was told her on-air presence was not "confrontational enough.

I love OAN, especially Liz Wheeler.
Funny thing is, I had a few Lib friends who enjoyed her show. They felt she was fair and balanced, as FoxNews used to say. I never watched her on PMSNBC, so I cannot comment on the slant of her show over there. But apparently she was somewhat middle-of-the-road and Lefties thought she was giving the Conservative point of view.
I thought she would fit right in at PMS-NBC, I always call her...Greta Van Facelift.
I've often said that the truth looks like right-wing extremism to a lefty.
And Kelly will soon be out at NBC, being replaced by a more liberal host.
If Greta couldn’t get the ratings then she gets fired. That is the bottom line. What I am glad about is that Fox News is recovering after being slaughtered in the ratings wars with MSNBC. At times, Brett has been beating the MSNBC show. Rachel is still beating most of the shows but her numbers are going down some.
Heck, for MSNBC she was a raving Bircher or the reincarnation of Attila the Hun.
IOW, she was loath to spread the required lies
She was definitely not hired for her looks, but for her ability. A handful of those hired for looks did prove to have some ability.
Just as normal looks hateful to the abnormal.
My wife met Greta during the Freddie Gray riots in Baltimore. Greta reporting live for Fox and my wife was there doing her street photography thing. Greta was doing stand-ups and during downtown they chatted a good bit. My wife said that Greta was very gracious with none of that typical “talent” arrogance. Just like she came always seemed to come off while on Fox. She’s a Montgomery County lib but very intelligent with sufficient empathy to listen to views varying from her own. I did not watch her on MSNBC because I haven’t been able to punch that channel in since Imus left. Well, maybe for a Jay Leno garage episode from time to time since I love his collection and vehicular attitude.
