Little League teaches the Great American Pastime to youngsters, and they also learn of teamwork, winning, losing, and good sportsmanship. FB cannot be a substitute for team sports. I understand that some little leagues no longer keep score, and everybody 'earns' a trophy, but I still prefer that to young people who waste their time with FB propaganda!
