Shakespeare is not the problem, but he shouldn’t be taught in the schools. If he’s good enough, people will find him without being assigned (forced) to read him.

I find that to be a ridiculous statement. Not teach the greatest poet/dramatist in the English language? Should they just teach comic books and Maya Angelou instead?

How many people actually read it? They’d be better off just putting it an optional reading list.
