Search engine use is not tantamount to search enginee supply. Google is but one of numerous companies supplying Internet search engines to consumers. Google's so-called market position is, as acknowledged above, a product of consumer use and not search engine supply.

Sorry, I disagree strongly with your assessment. A digital supply is not in question here and has no bearing on such a situation. A digital supply can be infinite. The PRACTICAL result is the usage. . . not that there are others that COULD be used. Certainly, for example, there may be other sources of a commodity, but if they are not used, for what ever reason, there exists a factual monopoly, regardless of your theoretical and sophistic arguments. Just because they exist, does NOT mean they are actually being utilized for the purposes of searches. For example, if there are hundreds of sellers of widgets in a market, but one is undercutting the prices of all of the others by 90%, and hence has cornered the market to the extent that he now has more than 90% of sales, he has a practical monopoly despite the fact that there are still hundreds of potential sellers. Your argument is fallacious.

Google has cornered the search engine market by whatever means (perhaps they have a superior product) and now has a monopoly but is now the EU claims they are misusing it.

An economic monopoly is quite different from a legal monopoly. That's where you are having a disagreement with me. I understand the difference.

Perhaps a monopsony would be a better economic definition, but few people understand the difference. . . and our laws don't make such a distinction. Legally, a 80-90% dominance is usually enough to define a monopoly. Google is likely to have achieved that.

<<<you literally have to jump hoops to NOT use the built in Microsoft Search engine!

Unless you buy a cell phone.

This fine is only about a weeks worth of revenue for Google.

No doubt, and that highlights how serious of a need we have to disrupt this leftest revenue stream.

Doesn’t google own youtube? I see today that they are flying the sodomite flag loud and proud. Gotta celebrate those turd pushers doncha know.

Yes they do, and they are using all of their assets to spread this pro-homo propaganda. Google needs to be reigned in and made less dangerous to American society and culture.
