He would have apologized, say he’ll try better, and turn the other cheek. There was not a single ounce of backbone in that man, and most of the gop.
In fairness to Romney, I can't think of many career politicians who are unafraid of the liberal media. They come to DC initially with plenty of bravado, vim and vigor soon to be seduced by the DC swamp. That is what makes Trump different. He does not NEED a political career to live a grand life.
