The occupying Turkish army and the gangs acting under their command have increased their attacks against Rojava. The gangs' attacks against Efrin has increased while aerial activity continues over Kobanê.
A summary of the occupying Turkish army and tied gangs' attacks against Rojava in the last 7 days is as following;
On 20.06.2017, the gangs acting under the command of the Turkish army attacked the villages of Maranez and Girê Qestelê in Efrin's Şera district with mortar shells. The same day, the gangs have also attacked the village of Basufanê in Şerawa district of Efrin. Again, on the night of the same day, the Turkish army has attacked the village of Koran in eastern Kobanê with heavy weapons. Our forces have immediately responded to the attacking Turkish soldiers, although the number of dead and wounded could not be clarified.
On 21.06.2017, between the hours of 11.00 and 12.00, the gangs tied to the Turkish army attacked the village of Basufanê in Efrin's Şerawa district with DShK-type weapons.
On 22.06.2017, the warplanes of the Turkish army flew over western Kobanê. The same day, Turkish soldiers have attacked the village of Silîpqiran in eastern Kobanê with heavy weapons. Our forces have immediately responded to the attacks of the Turkish army, although the number of dead and wounded Turkish soldiers could not be clarified.
Again, during the night of the same day, at 00.00 hours, gangs tied to the Turkish army attacked with DShK-type weapons the Birîndaran hill in Efrin's Cindirêsê district, and again attacked at 22.00 hours the Maranez village in Efrin's Şera district. Our forces have responded to the attacks of the gangs. The gangs have also attacked with DShKs, tanks and mortar shells the villages of El Qamiyê, Malikiyê and Basufanê in the Şerawa district of Efrin.
On 23.06.2017, gangs tied to the Turkish army attacked with mortar shells, DShKs and tanks the Martyr Şilan hill in Cindirêsê district of Efrin and again the village of Maranez in Şera district.
On 23.06.2017, gangs tied to the Turkish army attacked with mortar shells the village of Basufanê in Efrin's Şerawa district and the Martyr Şilan hill in Cindirêsê district, along with the Maranez village in Şera district with DShK-type weapons.
On 25.06.2017, warplanes and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Turkish army have toured over the western border of Kobanê in the east of the Euphrates.
On 26.06.2017, gangs tied to the Turkish army attacked with mortar shells the Basufanê village in Efrin's Şerawa district. The same day, the gangs attacked with DShK-type weapons the Maranez and Eyn Deqnê villages in Efrin's Şera district, and the Basufanê village in Şerawa district.

And as that battle is going on, what is our NATO ally Turkey doing? Shelling peaceful villages because they have Kurds in them. Headshake. And that is intended to impede the effort to take Raqqa.
I heard rumors the some of our US forces were repositioned again to prevent Turkey or their allied militias from shelling civilians in North Syria.

So now they are called “ gangs” instead of ISIS
The Kurds are going to have to decide how thin to stretch themselves as leaders if the “ SDF” occupying Syrian cities like Raqqa while their own territory is kept under attack
ISIS is and has always been a Turkish proxy. Turkey is their safe rear zone. Turkey is their source of money; Erdogan is their middle man for ISIS oil.
Whenever they talk about getting involved to “help” the war on ISIS, it is Kurds who they attack.
Why doesn’t Trump tweet about the Turks killing OUR allies?
Not sure how he is going to handle that. I suspect we are very close to demonstration by Trump that Edogan is past saving. I suspect we will pick up a few allies and lose him.
It will be no loss, because Erdogan the Islamist is going to replay Genocide. Question will be? Will we stop him?
No the term “gangs” are the Jihadi Militia’s that Erdogan the Islamist pays to promote his interests. They are little different from ISIS, because some of them fought for ISIS before Turkey picked them up.
The Kurds and other members of SDF liberate the town, have local elections and establish secular governments that are administered by the community. First order of business is to set up a local military presence.
So once liberated, mines removed, power and utilities restored as much as possible. SDF turns it over to local leaders. Some of those towns in turn, after stabilizing, send troops to fight with the SDF. So, it is an expanding model. I’m very impressed with how successful they have been with this. ISIS’s abuse has unified the communities.
