When Robert Mueller was first appointed Special Counsel, I thought, given his generally good reputation, that this might be a streamlined process with fewer leaks, focused on either proving or disproving allegations of Russian interference.
But I did acknowledge, for example in this radio interview, that there was a risk that in the wrong hands the powers vested under the Order appointing Mueller could be abused:
He will have the authority to investigate and the authority to prosecute any crimes that he finds, and the scope of what hes investigating under the order is fairly broad, its anything related to Russian interference in the campaign and any collusion, or any matters arising out of that. So its very broad, and very easily in the wrong hands could be a prosecutor in search of a crime, as opposed to a prosecutor prosecuting a crime.

Call it what it is; the Clinton collective...
A virtual license to steal...public funds.
Time to start the congressional investigation into Mueller’s selection process. Put the pressure on him for his bias in the team selection process.
And when he can't find one, he will move on to trying to create one by inducing false or conflicting testimony. And if that doesn't work, he will work with a corrupt FBI to just create false evidence. Whatever it takes.
Inplanting Clinton Moles one lawyer at a time.
Who gave investigation expansion order? Mueller his part of old boy club in DC. Any news on nomination of fin director? It indicates the swamp blocking the nomination.
Mueller is probably dirty, IMHO.
One more mission, may be his mission is to remove any criminal trace for someone.
I think last count was 15 attorneys hired so far. At $400/ hr average that comes to $300k a WEEK. I say the Spcl Prosecutor be required to post a bond, paid by the DNC, to be forfeited if nothing is found. Or take it from Obama’s retirement account.
Has anyone?
These days Time isn't important enough even to occupy the real estate in the checkout lanes at the supermarkets I shop at.
The only time I see the cover is when someone posts it on-line.
This NEEDS to END, Now.
Last week, this was my solid position, even going far enough to question President Trump's judgment for allowing it to continue. And in the week that has passed, CNN is firing reporters and President Obama has egg all over his face. I do believe President Trump will shut this whole farce of an investigation down. He is not a stupid man and every time I have doubted him, I have been proven wrong.
I believe in this case, timing will be everything and President Trump is slowly giving the Democrats the rope they need to hang themselves with.
This sounds like the SS.
Mueller is vulnerable here.
Trump should start tweeting hard about the inordinate cost to the taxpayer of this Democrat Witch Hunt.
It’s a 100% pure fishing expedition. Time to shut it down.

Wouldn’t it be cool if Trump said “Ok, Mr. Muller, we are going to put this on hold until we get to the bottom of real crimes that we KNOW have been committed, like the unmasking of Flynn, the obstruction of justice by Loretta Lynch, Hillary’s email espionage, etc.”
A couple of interesting details you might already know, but most don't:
From Kushner Adds Prominent Lawyer Abbe Lowell to Defense Team - NYT, by Matt Apuzzo, 2017 June 26
Mr. Kushner was already represented by Jamie S. Gorelick, a former deputy attorney general who is known for steering clients often behind the scenes through complicated Washington investigations. Mr. Lowell is a trial lawyer who has represented figures from both parties in high-profile cases. His clients have included the former Democratic vice-presidential nominee John Edwards and the disgraced former Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff **. He is currently defending Senator Robert Menendez, Democrat of New Jersey, against federal corruption charges. ..... < snip > ..... Mr. Lowell's hiring was set in motion with Mr. Mueller's appointment. He and Ms. Gorelick worked at the same firm, WilmerHale. "When Bob Mueller left WilmerHale to become special counsel and three of our colleagues joined him, ..." ..... < snip > Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law and adviser, has added to his legal team one of the nation's most prominent trial lawyers, Abbe D. Lowell, his lawyers said on Monday.
Mueller was a partner at WilmerHale since 2014 before resigning to become appointed as Special Counsel. At least two partners and one associate from WilmerHale are on his team now. Both Jamie Gorelick and Abbe Lowell are partners at WilmerHale.
