Our schools push every kind of sexual practice and relative morality...but when a teacher breaks the rules that USED TO EXIST...she is condemned.

Hormones are what they are. Most of these females today teachers are stuck in bland, sexless marriages and they want to relive their youth. The male kids want to brag to their friends about getting it on with their teacher.
Not condoning what's going on, it is what it is and of course teachers should be punished appropriately. But boys are going to be boys....you can't stop puberty and raging hormones folks, especially when the girls in the classroom your age are giving you the cold shoulder.

I am confused about this case, as the age of consent in Missouri is 17. So far this to be a criminal charge, it must have happened when he was sixteen.

when I was in high school I had a drama teacher who was only 22 years old fresh from the university. she was a great teacher but I know she had a tough time because my class mates were constantly harassing her with sexual innuendo.

She was hired as a substitute, then promoted to paraprofessional and then moved to teaching assistant. So which job did she actually start having a relationship with? Article doesn’t say.

In a high school senior English class we had a student teacher who was a real dish! Any one of us males in the class would have easily succumbed to any opportunity to have it on with her. She might have been 3 or 4 years older than we were.
