We knew the Washington Nationals bullpen was bad, but we figured the damage they did would be limited to games. Apparently, we were wrong. One Nationals fan grew so frustrated with the teams relievers that he made sure to take shots at them in his obituary.
A 68-year-old Nationals fan named Patrick Killebrew died peacefully June 20 after watching the Washington Nationals relief pitchers blow yet another lead. Yeah, thats how his obituary reads in the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Theres another shot taken at the teams bullpen, so well just post the entire obituary that ran in the Times-Dispatch.

That bullpen is slowly killing all of us fans here. (as are the Caps)
If the Yankees don’t turn things around, I expect my husband will want some mention of their bullpen in his obit... just sayin’.
The Nats finally get a line up that can hit with runners on and the pen goes bad.
Freegards
Interesting unusual name. Harmon Killebrew played for the Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins franchise, back in the day.
I heard that if any teams move or baseball expands, that the Montreal Expos may come back.
There has been talk this year that the Tampa Bay Rays would consider a move to Montreal. Montreal would also be an expansion location if another city could be found for a necessary second expansion team.
I heard rumors that it would be Vancouver BC.
When Toronto played the Mariners recently it was amazing how many Canadians made the 2+ hour trip down to Seattle.
If the Nats sign Francisco Rodriguez, both the team and this guy will be dead.

Surprising since the Jays suck this year. This might be a carry over from the last two years when they made the playoffs.
Hope so, though living in Calgary, chances are that I will never see a live game. The commute is atrocious!
I also heard that the ‘Big Owe’ is not now considered a viable stadium for MLB baseball or CFL football.
Never been too much of a Jays fan but always an Expos fan. Can’t stand the Tranna ‘Make me Laffs’ (aka the ‘Make Believes’) nor the Raptors, nor the Habs (Montreal Canadiens).
I gave up on sports after the Red Sox lost the World Series in 1977. There’s zero risk that a faulty bullpen will kill me off.
Should have stuck around. They just clinched the NL East for the fourth time in six years.
