He was an adult,traveling with other students. The parents did their job,raised him to adulthood, and he was responsible for his own actions.

True, but somewhere in his upbringing, there was some sort of privilege he expected or thought he had. A place like N. Korea is well known for this sort of thing. Rodman got away with stuff because he was of use to kim jong ugh.
