The justices are expected to take the bench on Monday at 10 a.m. to issue opinions in argued cases. There are six decisions still outstanding, involving everything from cross-border shootings to the death penalty and public funding for playgrounds at religious preschools.
To be sure, there is no guarantee that we will actually get opinions on the merits in all six of these cases: Three of the remaining cases were argued before Justice Neil Gorsuch took the bench in April, creating a not-insubstantial possibility that the justices are deadlocked. With Gorsuch now on the bench, the justices could order reargument in those three cases, which would presumably take place next fall. But we will know much more by the end of Monday morning. In any event, here is a brief summary of each of the six cases, organized by the sitting in which they were argued.

FYI
Why do they constantly put off what needs to be dealt with? Hand the cases over to Gorsuch; he can send the applicable attorneys any questions he has and they should be able to answer within a day. Then add his decision to those cases. Done!
Mail order jurisprudence?
Because they are cowards.
Whatever happened to the “Travel ban appeal”, I though that AG Sessions was asking for a stay from the USSC?
Gorsuch was not on the court when the case was argued. He has no part to play in the decision.
Because they are cowards
I’m more than a little worried how the SC will rule on the travel ban.
The fact that the circuit court injunctions were not immediately stayed when presented to the court is bothersome considering the national security implications.
If the SC punts and lets the lower court stays in place until the cases are argued there, it will be Trumps second term before it again reaches the SC.
