Americans overwhelmingly disapprove of the House plan to repeal and replace Obamacare, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
This new poll comes as Senate Republicans unveil their own health care legislation on Thursday. While the Senate bill shares some similarities to the House version, it also contains differences.
....Just 16 percent of adults believe that House health care bill is a good idea, versus 48 percent who say it's a bad idea.

how did nbc fake news say the election would end again?
The question they probably asked is whether or not they approve of replacing Obamacare, if it means they will die.
People don’t want to die.
This is simply nonsense. How stupid does NBC think people are. The proposed bill has only been out a short time, and most people probably don’t know it exists.
NBC Poll? Now that’s funny. I’m going to wait for the Mad Magazine poll to come out.
Right...How many people outside of the beltway have even read it????
....Im going to wait for the Mad Magazine poll to come out....
One answer to pick from would be, “What, me worry?”
Talk about fake news. How many people asked even read it? Ah...zip.
I bet 99% of people don’t even know a new bill has been revealed. Just getting home from work, gassing up, or seeing what the wife is cooking for dinner.
I oppose the GOP plan, too.
I want Obamacare repealed and not replaced with a different form of socialism.
The Federal government has exactly NO Constitutional authority to run health care like this and I expect the Republicans to stop this kind of nonsense and not emulate it.
Fake news. Poll was taken in San Francisco only.
Within minutes?!!! Fake! Fake! Fake!
48% is still a minority.
“The Federal government has exactly NO Constitutional authority to run health care like this and I expect the Republicans to stop this kind of nonsense and not emulate it.”
Amen to that. Earn your own damn healthcare and stop stealing from other people who actually worked for it.
1st - the poll is based on media reports about the bill which largely use political positions about what politicians CLAIM about the bill.
2nd - you have always question the demographic skewing of who is sampled in such polls.
3rd - in sum, polls done this early in the process rely on a lot of ignorance and a lot of political agenda running.
“The question they probably asked is whether or not they approve of replacing Obamacare, if it means they will die.”
I think you got it. They certainly would not know what is in it at this point.
I once heard that the majority of people polled, in a particular assessment, was against prayer in schools. The question that evoked that response was close to: “Are you in favor of school prayer if it is forced at bayonet point?”
How can they disapprove? They know nothing about it!
Has to be based solely on other factors, like being democrat and/or hating Trump, because they haven’t had time (or opportunity) to read and evaluate the bill.
They have NO idea what is in the bill.
House bill has been out for many weeks.
