The Democratic National Committee raised nearly $4.3 million in May, making it the organization's worst May on record for fundraising since 2003, according to newly released Federal Election Commission data.
In May 2003, the Democratic group pulled in $2.7 million. Although 2017 is an off-year for fundraising, the DNC has raised between $4.5 million and $20 million every May in the nearly decade and a half since then.
The low number follows another rough fundraising month in April, in which the group hauled in $4.7 million, making it the worst April of fundraising since 2009.
Maybe this is just a reflection of now people set up their own ways to funnel money in and don’t need to go thru DNC?
Maybe part of this is Democrat donor gave lots of money to Ossoff instead of the Democrat party itself???
I was thinking Ossoff as the destination for such monies.
“I was thinking Ossoff as the destination for such monies.”
Not once but twice.
Soros and Styer can inject money anytime they want
How long can the democRATS fool their donors into sending their money in, when they can't show results in the polls?
Eventually, the democRATS will have a much more difficult time raising funds than they are having right now, as reflected in this article.
All talk and no do.
It’s going to get worse for them before it gets better. Their donors are growing weary of seeing the DNC throwing away a boatload of money on people like Ossoff.
They diverted 20+ million to Ossoff. Their extremism is bringing in big bucks even while it is not winning elections.
Don’t think the Republicans/Conservatives don’t have the same problem. I get some pretty extremist/wacko email appeals for money that apparently work to get money. But if the voters saw them, we’d lose some elections.
Flush the Democrats
The demonrats don’t have access to all of the government slush funds that they used to pay off people to send some of it back to the DNC.
