An article on this attack (Daily Mail) stated that the attacker, Ftouhi, had a "hatred for the U.S." Now under the rules from the previous Administration, this would mean that this attack would be a SERIOUS Misdemeanor like 'Workplace Violence', deserving of a real concern for the rights of the non-citizen attacker.
What I hope for now is a, for once, proper application of the 'Hate Crime' qualifiers, giving the perp, upon conviction, more time to rot in prison!
