Politico has a pretty stunning quote about House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) from a fellow House Democrat, following Tuesday's big Georgia special-election loss:
“I think you’d have to be an idiot to think we could win the House with Pelosi at the top,” said Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas), who supported Pelosi in her last leadership race. “Nancy Pelosi is not the only reason that Ossoff lost. But she certainly is one of the reasons.”
Yikes. That's a brand of criticism you don't even generally see from any fellow Democrats — much less ones who voted for Pelosi for leader. Clearly feelings are a little raw after Tuesday night.
Something big needs to change if Pelosi doesn't voluntarily step down. The party took a step in that direction in November when nearly one-third of them (63 in total) voted against her for leader — the most ever. And now Vela's comments suggest the opposition might be growing.
We shall see.

While Ossoff tried to sound more moderate, the fact is, as a Democrat, he would have voted in lockstep with Pelosi and company. I’m sure that was on some voters minds.

The Rep is right. The very day after Scalise was shot, Pelosi was blaming Republicans. I have to say, I will give more credit to old school Democrats, than to be as far Left as Pelosi. Obama, Reid, Schumer, Pelosi, Warren, Hillary, et al, are not people that almost ANYONE would want as friends. The women are screeching hags and the ‘men’ are Metrosexual wusses. The Dem party is in disarray, but all we hear in Big Media is the mess the Republicans are in. Big Media is a big LOSER too, in all this mess.
But who can they get that is any wackier,out of touch and full of hate than Pelosi - you know, so the leader represents the Dem Congressmen.

Pelosi keeps getting elected leader because she brings in the most money. Maybe the dems will start to realize that money isn’t enough.
